2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup

Marketing a national event like the Memorial Cup meant creating a cohesive look that would be versatile across multiple mediums. I started with a halftone photo effect for the background and introduced grunge-style icons along with whimsy typography.


The client wanted the look to be western, modern and classic but also approachable to all age groups. The look was then replicated across digital and print materials with over 100 assets created to capture this monumental event. Overall it was a hugely successful event that won't be forgotten anytime soon.
